Sticking our heads in a bunch of caves @JonnyC: A trip up through the valley from the lower CP to stick our heads in a few caves we have not seen before. We wandered past aveline's due to repeated visits in the past, and headed straight up to Goon's Hole. I made a bad decision up front to enter on my back which made the going very tough, at the 'botttom' I could find insufficient room to turn so re-ascended and let rich pass. Digging @RichM: Cleared lots of spoil whilst other wall building dug down about a foot, lots more loose sand and gravel to come out. Had to mount a rescue mission - 1 large newt found trapped between two pitches, packaged inside my gloves and conveyed to surface in tackle bag, released apparently no worse for the ordeal

Further explore of Lionels trying to nail the navigation @JonnyC: Our second trip into Lionel's (first for Darren) to see what we could remember. I definately recognised a lot of it, but I think Rich did a little better piecing it all together. From the entrance we took the mid level passage over the boulder into the boulder chamber, from there we started out by exploring the pit.
