Bathhampton - Claverton pumping station and return in K1 @RichM: An exploratory paddle to look at launch and exit plans. A good dry run having repaired my K1 which remained water tight. Good parking by church reasonable launch about 40cm drop, fairly slow paddle owing to Paul being hungover!

Evening paddle in the docks practicing technique @JonnyC: Setting out at dusk from Bristol Marina we paddled along the floating harbour, after passing the lit bridge we decided to press on to the Feeder Canal, and onward to Netham Lock. Having decided not to accept the social advances of the lock keeper, we paused briefly at the bridge to search for water and observe the wildlife before paddling back.
