Pitches very wet and evidence of significant sumping in dig area @RichM: Revisited dig site - water has backed up to roof at some point, but flowing well today. Banged floor in pursuit of way on. tourists caught up with and assisted on ladders, one lost her welly on the pitch so I had to intervene and reunite. Very cold on the exit journey.
