Assessing swildons upper for leading possibilities @JonnyC: Concentrated on Swildon's upper series considering it's suitability for leading a group into, Short Dry Way, Long Dry Way, Old Grotto, Water Chamber, Wet Way.
Leading Kyle into the water chamber with handline on tradesmans @JonnyC: Took Kyle down to the Boulder Chamber where he had got to last time, and then proceeded on under the Coffin Lid and down the slide into the Water Chamber, came back out via Bloody Tight, and a handline up the Tradesman entrance.
Quick trip to sump one, JC & Mak did a speedy exit with DG & RM behind @JonnyC: A great trip down to Sump One, came out with Mak whilst Rich accompanied Darren, achieved the out trip in record time.
Leading Callum around the upper passages and the maze @JonnyC: Popped down for a look around the upper passages, and a little play in the maze, will tackle the terrace next time.
Getting our bearings in sidcot, refining the lobster pot technique. @JonnyC: A play around in sidcot to try and find our bearings, was good fun, lobster pot was easier this time.
@JonnyC: Stomp and nav up and around Llan Y Fan Fawr, and then a dash up to the ridge to stretch the lungs, reasonable weather. QHWD
@JonnyC: Challenge to break SW from the quarry to Cribarth trig whilst remaining on WGL terrain, micro Nav practice, visit few cave digs and then the massive Shake Hole. Good conditions. QHWD
@JonnyC: Micro Nav, timing and pacing practice on Ogof Ffynnon Ddu nature reserve, wet & misty. QHWD
@JonnyC: Completion of the above across Lord Hereford’s knob, down past the reservoir. Windy & wet.
@JonnyC: A 2 day expedition across the Black Mountains from Llanthoney, taking in Hay Bluff before dropping into the wooded valley for a hammock wild camp. Strong Gale 9, Rain, Low Vis. QHWD
