Aaron has been excited about the prospect of trying Caving for some time, and this evening an opportunity presented itself, so with big brother Callum along for the ride we headed for Burrington Combe.

A quick look in Aveline's, up the brook and past the Tradesman's we hit the sun bathed main entrance. After gaining our caving legs we had a go on the slide before cautiously descending Giant's steps. Along drunkards and past "blinkin' tight", we stopped for a lights off experience. We spotted the two lower entrances to the maze before heading to the bottom of the Tradesman's.

Not yet worn out, Aaron decided to take the tight route into the maze guided by his brother's voice and dragging me behind him (been a while), we returned out through the second lower entrance with Callum joining us.

We took the opportunity for a selfie before rigging an assisted handling to ascend the Tradesman's back out into the evening sunshine.

Aaron thoroughly enjoyed and wanted to push further, he was "chatty" to say the least! Big thanks to Callum for assisting and making the experience fun for Aaron.
