Summary

OSCE mocks in Bournemouth led to desperate measures
Comment by @AdamEvans on Tuesday 27 June 2023
With 3 consecutive days of 'school' and tired of commuting 1h30 before and after each day, I opted for a cheap camp site close to campus. To my surprise, I found a £12pp pn camp site near (ish) pool in Lytchett Minster. On arrival, there was no reception, no staff, and no sign of anyone. Called the landline I found online, and was advised to pitch wherever and the warden would probably come round and see me later on (he did not). I opted for a woodland spot, tucked away out of sight of the entrance track but still far enough away from the road to have only minimal car noise. Once pitched, fed and watered, I decided something key was missing in the rather sorry looking fire pit, and swiftly rectified its dark cold appearance to bright and warm. Now observing my hard work resulting in ROSC, I thought this should bode well for the ALS OSCE coming up! Much better than commuting, and the same price as the fuel! Maybe I should turn everyday uni into an adventure more often ....
